1st-birthday

Vince and the team at First Aid Training That Cares are celebrating a successful first year of offering first aid courses to individuals and companies across Dorset.

Since leaving both the NHS (working in acute, medical and A&E departments) and a large corporate company (where Vince managed the international first aid requirements), he has been on an exciting journey – from setting up a business to providing training classes and courses.

His personal highlights from the year include:-

  • Training members of the Bournemouth Lions / Rotary Club and providing first aid support for their annual Donkey Derby.
  • Working with local charity BCHA to train and equip their staff and volunteers to be confident first aiders.
  • Trained groups of employees to gain a First Aid at Work certificate.
  • Training and working with volunteer first aiders on the annual Bourne Free festival in Bournemouth, with over 4800 people attending the 2 sites.
  • Set up a website, Facebook page and twitter feed.
  • Acted as a first aid representative for a local music festival.

The team are very much looking forward to a second year of success in Dorset and welcome enquiries from individuals, businesses, groups, charities, schools, nurseries etc who need first aid training / courses or advice.
